Vote by mail & absentee voting
This is a year with a State Primary and State Election. The Secretary of the Commonwealth election division will mail Vote by Mail postcard applications. If you want a Vote by Mail early ballot or an absentee ballot, you must apply every year. If you applied in 2025, you need to apply again in 2026.
The deadline to request a ballot by mail (Absentee or Vote by Mail) is Friday, April 17, 2026. Ballots can be mailed back or dropped off at Town Hall. A ballot drop box is available in front of the new Town Hall.
Vote by Mail and Absentee ballots must be received by the Town Clerk before 8:00 PM on Election Day.

The last day to register to vote in this election is Wednesday, April 15, 2026. On that day, the Town Clerk's Office will be open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
