About
Longtime Wilmington resident, engineer, and advocate for transparent, responsive local government.
For more than 20 years, Wilmington has been the place my family and I have called home. It's where we've put down roots, built lasting friendships, and raised our two sons in a community that values education, safety, and neighborly support. My wife and our sons share my deep commitment to this town — its schools, its neighborhoods, and its future.
Like so many Wilmington families, we care about safe streets, strong schools, support for seniors, thoughtful growth, and a local government that truly listens to its residents. My decision to run for Select Board comes from a desire to give back to the community that has given our family so much and to work alongside you to keep Wilmington moving forward.
Background
Professionally, I bring over 20 years of experience as a technology leader in the IT industry. I hold a Master's degree in Business Administration from UMass Lowell, and throughout my career, I have focused on problem-solving, strategic planning, and responsible decision-making — skills I am eager to bring to the Select Board.
Community Service
Community service has always been important to me. I have been actively involved in volunteer work, including serving with Shishu Bharathi and Tamil Makkal Mandram (TMM). For the past ten years, I have volunteered with Tamil Makkal Mandram in various leadership roles, including Executive Member, Secretary, Vice President, and President. These experiences have strengthened my ability to collaborate, listen, and lead with integrity.
What I Stand For
- Transparent decision-making and open communication
- Responsible budgeting and long-term planning
- Support for seniors, families, and local businesses
- Responsible growth that protects neighborhoods and community character
Family
Both of our sons were educated in the Wilmington public school system. Today, our elder son, Suketh, is pursuing a degree in Medicine at Drexel University, and our younger son, Vibhush, is studying Computer Science at Georgia Tech in Atlanta. Their success began here in Wilmington, and we are grateful for the strong foundation this town provided them. We are proud to call Wilmington our forever home.
I would be honored to serve the residents of Wilmington and work together to ensure our town remains a vibrant, welcoming community for generations to come.
